Today was a busy day, but a fulfilling one. Often times my work duties are not strictly related to web design and today was just such a day.
I’ve been working with one client to develop mini-sites for their members and setting up sub-domain redirects.
Then I was helping coordinate development of ads that will be used in major publications and various online initiatives.
After that I was working on coordinating some video production for a client’s advertising project.
And finally I wo...Read more
After much deliberation, I have settled on a new format for my website. It is up, but still a work in progress. Currently I have only posted up a few of my professional details (portfolio, resume/cv) but much more will be forthcoming.
If you have any questions or thoughts, please don’t hesitate to contact me at markmoran -at- gmail dot com.
So, I made it back to Hong Kong in one piece. Suffering from a bit of jet lag so I'm up at 3:00 a.m. right now. I'll try to get a bit more sleep after I post this up.So far I haven't done too much. Just a quick update. After 2 months in Idaho I am back in California. Staying in Berkeley for a few days until I head over to Hong Kong on Sunday (arriving Monday). A Cherokee Elder, was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them, ‘ A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

I am finally able to participate in one of Jane's photo assignments! This time it was "Going Going Gone!" and we had to post up 6 pictures with lines, perspective and a vanishing !point. I whittled down my photos to 7 I liked, but I had to do 6 so I'm posting the 7th as an "honorable mention".
Most of these were from pictures I've taken before, and a bunch have already been posted here at some points in the past. But I did take one specifically for this (the ice) and I used a couple that I hadn'...Read more
Arriving in Hong Kong January 27.
Return to the U.S. February 15.
As I mentioned in my last blog, two weekends ago (December 6-7) was the Northwest Regional Baha'i Conference in Portland, Oregon. Over 2,600 Baha'is from 8 states treked out to the Portland Convention Center to participate in a pretty amazing event.
My trip started a bit earlier. On Thursday evening I drove over to Idaho Falls to stay with some Baha'is there who offered their spare room for me to stay in. Bob and Nancy are really nice folks and since they were driving to Portl...Read more
A little late, but I wanted to catch up on my blogging. I went to Portland last weekend for a Baha'i conference so I didn't have time to blog for the past whenever.
But I'll save the Portland conference for another blog. This one will be about the last week or so in Driggs. But not in any particular order.
Stars
First, I was really amazed at the clarity of stars in the sky here in Idaho. Especially 2 weeks ago when the moon was new and it was really dark out. I went outside wit...Read more
I hope everyone had a good Turkey Day (or Tofurkey if you are vegetarian). Life here in Driggs is plodding along at a nice, steady pace and I spent the week fairly productively, and yet at the same time, I seemed to have a fair amount of time for myself.
On the work-front, my project for the TVCC is going quite well. I've almost finished the site structure and layout and after I train one of the staff members on the CMS system they will be able to start entering data from the old website while I work on ...Read more
