I don't get it. I was out today and saw 2 people scratching their asses on separate occasions?Am I crazy to think this is slightly strange,or is ass scratching actually politically correct?
Is it the new black?
Well.
So,i was getting myself all blue from the coughing,it was way bad till patches of blood started to appear when I coughed. I discovered that in the midst of all these,Singapore drives me crazy with their customer service. I am seething still. I called starhub from my Taiwan number to ask them about my lost SIM card and I specifically explained that it was a trunk call because I was using my Taiwan phone. They put me on hold, what numbnuts. It is fine to do this to me,because I will forgive u out of the goodness of my heart (bear with the sacarsm my dears) but to actually tell me that they would need me to call back in 15 minutes because all their lines were busy after I ALREADY tried 3 times made me a lil u know infuriated.
Never mind,I had a kick from listening to Singlish, it's been a while. And nobody speaks to me in Singlish in Taiwan,so this was like fun. I don't know if u catch my drift but Singlish is just like a warped insignia of pride in Singapore. When I was young,I thought it was real cool and cute. But u have to understand,my dad was ironhanded and demanded that I strayed from speaking strange and weirdish English. He said, the point was not to copy any accents,British, or American but to articulate well and without the mixture of Malay and Mandarin or the "la"s and the "loh"s. I went ahead and spoke everything he preached against but ironically when I dated a Canadian born chinese,he was so amused by the language he took it as a sin if people asked if he liked "flied lice" aka FRIED RICE. And then the whole persecution began and he would crucify anyone who spoke weird English in his face.
Me.I'm chill so long as u don't call me Lyn-diAH, Lee dar,Lindia,Lee-jeer or Leader. U see, I'm really just Lydia. Or really, have u met my hand? Talk to it.
Just kidding. Love ya'all southern drawl
