CASA of Los Angeles recruits, trains, and supports CASA volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to transform the lives of abused and neglected children in foster care. IMPORTANT FACTS * There are roughly 30,000 children in the LA Foster care system. * CASA serves 7,000 children a year annually * 800 foster children a year receive ongoing individual advocacy.
