Soul Heaven, Cut&Paste, K1664, EVENTS!!!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Nothing like turning a year older to make you look back and wonder where the time has gone.

Unfortunately, turning 24 has made me realize that I haven't accomplished nearly as much as I would have liked to by now. Got to keep hustling!

Below is a poster I designed for the upcoming Soul Heaven event next Thursday the 14th of May at Drop. Typography byAiden Ho. The design is based around the usual Soul Heaven branding, except we added the Asian flair!

In other news I will be exhibiting in Shanghai this coming June. So I am hard at work creating all new pieces for it! Ultrachrome Giclee prints on matte canvas that will measure up to 2 metres tall!!

I have also passed the test rounds and will be competing at Cut & Paste in HK on the Friday, 15th of May. If you don't know Cut & Paste, think B-Boy battling but with designers! Sponsored by Adobe, Pantone, Wacom, The Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design, partnered with TIme Out, Milk Magazine, Hong Kong Design Centre, and global media partners include Computer Arts and IdN!!!! I am one of 8 contestants in the 2D category. I'm psyched to take part in it! But I'm even more psyched to see other designers in action!!

And lastly, Kronenbourg 1664 will be launching tomorrow night at 7pm (Tuesday 5th May) at California Tower in LKF. I'm one of 5 designers in HK that had been selected to interpret the theme 'French Art of Pleasure' for the brand, and I believe the work of all the artists will appear as Mobile Art around HK. Very cool!! :D
