A very good friend of mine just did an animation project with Clean Air Network. I went to school with Jessica Louie in HK, as well as Parsons The New School for Design with her in NYC. She is definitely one of the most interesting people I know. She's a vegan environmentalist surfing yoga monster with anime and visual rock tendencies and she eats durian with her bare hands.
What I love about this animation is that not only does the message follow through, her voice as a designer is very prominent in the drawings for this animation.
I always thought her work was great, but on a commercial level I wasn't sure how it would translate, as the artist inside her comes out very heavily on her work. But then it reminds me of something one of my instructors once said, a philosophy that David Carson lives by:
"If you take care of the work, the work will take care of you."
Well done, Jessica!! Support Clean Air in HK!
