The simple things in life.

Over the past decade, I've been running back and forth from Asia to the US. It always hits me that there are some things that I really took for granted. Here some of the simple things in life that I missed about the good ol' US of A!  It's a bit long, but I promise it's entertaining!

Driving in your car with the sunroof open on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

Plenty of FREE parking. If you live in HK or Taiwan, you know what I am talking about.

YES. The Promise Land A.K.A. TARGET!

Shopping carts big enough where you can fit your entire family and then some.

Sliders! Although I think one of these is still the size of a Big Mac in Asia.

Cool things that you can buy for cheap. In HK , these would cost double the price. (can anyone tell me what they are?)

Drive Thru baby!! it's the CRAZY CHICKEN!

Good ol' American meat Part III served Mexican style!!!!  Definitely a runner up for the "last meal" contention.

Vietnamese noodles. YUMMMMMMMMMY! Another runner-up....I think DY SAO can appreciate this.

I still don't know why they are not in Asia.

The best ice cream in the world.  The top is green apple sorbet and the bottom is strawberry yougurt!. It's called Fosselman's Ice Cream in Alhambra, Ca. Tell them Johnny sent ya!
