went to sleep with the heaviest feeling on my heart last night, thinking about the future of our country and not just my family but how it will be for all of us. maybe it was the simple prayer for my family and the country before knocking out or just the solid 7 hours but i woke up feeling refreshed, encouraged and more hopeful than i expected. @iamcarolcay took Chance downstairs to have breakfast and was gonna let me sleep in but something said, "join them". as a believer, i trust God is in control always. especially in the most turbulent times. as one of the most prolific poets of this generation once said, WE GON' BE ALRIGHT!
