4th July Weekend

Friday evening started with a reading for an upcoming independent feature film. It was quite normal, except that the actor who read with me was one of my co-actors in Pleasure Factory, and nobody in the room could recognize me without my frizzy permed hair!! *gRiNz~

Do I really look that different??

Next up was party weekend. Although we don't usually celebrate Independence day in Singapore, it didn't stop patriot John Langan, of TryBe @ Mimolette, from donning Uncle Sam's colorful ensemble.

Actually this is the first time I'm in the presence of the independence day spirit. While we didn't have fireworks, the boys tried to induce sights of stars by tricking me with shots of patron (neat). The hat that was way too big and slipping to cover my eyes didn't do much though. 

Finally Sunday's here, and I'm back to "work". Went for a training session / discussion with a physical theatre group. It was extremely fun doing improvisation exercises with these professional theatre practitioners. The energy in the air was alert, creative yet totally playful! I was sOoooOOooo loving it Although, I tried to do some headstands + shoulderstands today, and I think my back muscles are outta shape, so *siGhz~ I am so not looking forward to the pain on my body tomorrow.
