So we had a great workshop the last two days, I went out for a walk in Tsimshatsui, near where I am staying AND I RAN INTO SOMEONE I KNOW.
When that happens I start to feel at home. And my close friends back in the states will shake their hands and say ONLY JEANNE.
But Seriously it was so much fun to run into Jun right there on the street. He is doing a huge performance right now so I didn't think I would get to see him. HEY JUN!
I look forward to running into more people I know!

One of my greatest joys as I have worked with actors, writers and all kind of people who want to get past their fears is to see what amazing changes that can happen when people are willing to venture out of their comfortable zone. Hey what does that mean? Sometimes it is just being afraid to get up in front of people, other times it is a person who wants to go to that next level, that scary place where you could share who you really are. Yes sometime actors just come to learn more techniques that help them do better in their audit...Read more
Lots of people have been asking me about my new book,
The Right Questions for Actors. I thought I would share with
AnD People a few pages of the new book.
Books will be available for sale while I am in Hong Kong (see Jason Tobin's page, my Workshop Schedule) and for you all in the states, you can order the book at my website
a friend passed this on to me and I wanted to share it with you.
Carrots, Eggs & Coffee
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again

I head the other day some one say
"Itdoesn't take any more time to dream a big dream than a little dream. Why not dream big?"What stops you from living your dream? Have you ever asked yourself this question? I ask my students that question and it is interesting that many times it is not the obvious answer. It is not finding the right monologue for actors or finding the right hairdo. No, when it comes down to it, most of the time it is our own inner fear. It is something that is inside you. It...Read more
WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT LAWRENCE BENEDICT!
Many of you have been reading and enjoying Larry’s blogs about editing and creating a fantastic demo. It’s so great that he is sharing this information with you.
In all the years I have worked in Hollywood I don’t think I have met someone who knows more about this subject. I always recommend him to actors, directors and writers when they need to prepare their own DVD, or they need to put down an audition to be sent to New York o...Read more
