WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT LAWRENCE BENEDICT!
Many of you have been reading and enjoying Larry’s blogs about editing and creating a fantastic demo. It’s so great that he is sharing this information with you.
In all the years I have worked in Hollywood I don’t think I have met someone who knows more about this subject. I always recommend him to actors, directors and writers when they need to prepare their own DVD, or they need to put down an audition to be sent to New York or they need to fix something that someone else has made, I know that Larry will always figure out a solution.
But what many of those people and probably AnD people don’t know about Larry is that he is a talented actor. He is a well-trained and gifted actor. I do think this is one of the reasons why Larry can understand how to show an actor’s work in the best possible way. He has walked in their shoes. And when you have actually walked in an artist’s shoes you understand more about what he or she feels and needs.
There have been times when an actor or actress that coaches with me needs to put an audition on “tape” for producers, casting directors, and directors. They ask me how to do this and I tell them to call Larry. And sometimes they ask me to be there when they shoot it. I love going over to the studio and watching Larry work. His attention to detail makes him unique. The actor or actress always feels that we the team, Larry and myself, are there to support them, to make them get the best results and they know that we know how they feel. It’s such a joy working with someone like Larry. I know that he will make it happen!
So if you have questions about editing or your demo, I would highly recommend that you contact Lawrence Benedict. He has both the technical knowledge and experience as well as the artistic experience of being a performer himself. He knows what he is talking about.
I am so glad he is sharing his expertise with you.
So many times it’s the details that makes all the difference and Larry notices the details. I feel so lucky that I met him years ago. And with all that he is a really nice guy!
