It's my birthday!!!! :):)

Oh my gosh!! it's my birthday and i'm SOOOOOOOO happy!!! i don't want to spend too much time indoors because it's such a beautiful day outside, but i just wanted to say how happy I am. here' s a short list of reasons why (in no particular order other than how they just came to my brain):

1. the weather is PERFECT!

2. my parents have flown in from Houston to celebrate my 30th with me.

3. I am a published author!!!! (and book sales are doing great!!! --- thank you everybody!)

4. I'm flying to Thailand tomorrow to film Fun Asia :)

5. Fun Taiwan is in it's 10th season and the response abroad is also quite positive :)

6. my room is a mess, but I have a place to stay, that's convenient.... I know i complain about wanting to buy a place in Taipei for my own, but when i think about it, i am quite lucky that I even HAVE a space to call my own, to live in comfortably without having to worry about being able to pay next month's rent.

7. I have friends who have flown here from the US, England... just to celebrate my 30th with me.

8. I"m surrounded by supportive, wonderful people here in Taiwan!

9. I have a new haircut!

10. I'm wearing a summer dress and it's in the middle of winter!

11. I just got an awesome scrapbook from my roommate - a very sweet present.

12. I don't need anything at all, and still, my friends manage to surprise me with the most touching and meaningful things.

13. i'm healthy!

14. My nephew is super duper upper cute and i get to see him in a few days.

i'll have more to add but i gotta go and run outside into the sun!!!
