Just did a two hour poetry workshop with Luka, amazing artist, amazing energy. We wrote straight for 2 hours, first in free form flow, then into metaphor and finally into the 5 step process that Luka uses. Totally inspired by this man, and a great artist, who is here in Hong Kong as part of the Literary Festival 2012.

We had a sell out week at the Fringe with audiences standing to their feet every night and the kick off to the month long Pink Season (Hong Kong's LGTB festival). Two more shows only where I can be the crazy, zany loveable Aunt Tonnian. Pictured here with Cassandra Kaoustos as Maria.

I've entered my first photo book into a competition, so fingers crossed that the judges like it. Here's the cover for it, it's 40 pages long and consists of images taken in the span of one year. The competition is organized by Asia One Publishing. Results are announced beginning of October and then the top ten photo books are put on display all around HK.
A few months ago, I did a series of photos for Matt before his move to London. He's doing really well there with a few roles he is working on, a stage play as well as a few film shorts. Friends Derek Ting and Joyce Yung are busy in the US going from premiers in NYC, DC, holding Q&A sessions to sold out audiences!!! They are on to SF and LA for more. I was lucky to be in NYC for the screening at the AAIFF (Asian American Int'l Film Fest) and the after-show party.

I saw this play last night, really not knowing what to expect, and loved it!!
Only a few more weeks left of this witty, fast moving play. Written by a Bruce Norris, a fellow Northwestern theater alum, it won the Tony for past play.....try and listen to producer Jordan Roth's acceptance speech at the Tony's, it's brilliant. If you can't go see the play, find a script and read it!
