The Met's Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, explores the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras. Inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s, the exhibition features orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work. Iconic ensembles are presented with videos of simulated conv...Read more
I went to see this video installation twice, once at 3:04am and a second time at 9:52am. Things look very different at these time since this a 24-hour continuous installation. Today was the last day showing at the Lincoln Center Atrium building before the video installation moves to MOMA and last weekend the exhibit was open all weekend through the nights.
This is the best work of art I've seen this year, never for one moment did my mind wander because real time and virtual time were one, a sense of being ...Read more
I'm lucky to be in NYC and last night went to the premier of the documentary style film on Ai Wei Wei. The film captures the personality of this artist so well, it's the inside story of a dissident for the digital age who inspires global audiences and blurs the boundaries of art and politics.
Evan Osnon led a Q&A session afterward, being a jounalist based in Beijing for the New Yorker, he had some great insight into the artist. An excellent film by first time director Alison Klayman. Go see it!! M...Read more

No international shipping yet, but soon he will have that option. I'm picking up my boards when I'm in NYC and will use them when down in Maryland photographing a wedding. You can do so much with these....

He came in today for headshot, an actor in NYC but here in HK for a few months on a project. I've been working on getting THE headshot for actors which can take an entire photo session. This headshot project is inspired by www.peterhurley.comBut with Gerome, we got the headshot and had time to play around. Here he is in what I call the matinee idol moment. I would hire him any day for a film role, so dreamy!!!
I've recently come across this amazing book of photographs by Chow Yun Fat. While meeting a new printer (an now friend/mentor) of fine art photography and getting some of my work printed, I was shown this book. Amazing images taken by Chow Yun Fat while on location. Take a look here for the info and try to find the book to take a look at some beautiful artist images:
