Yesterday, I went to Jeanne Hartman Acting Workshop. It was an introduction class and I wanted to get a sense of what it's like to be an actor. It was funny, because the night before was...well, Saturday and also the AnD party, so some of us were feelin' a little rough! ha ha Knowing myself too well, I purposely had to cut my consumption the night before but glad i did. Jeanne is a wonderful coach and amazing person. Really intuitive, patient, got lots of insights into acting and has inspiring stories to tell. We played sensory games then, read scripts and had lots of fun. I played a quirky kid (normal me) and then a shady lawyer (Gangsta GS). Great class and recommend you guys to try. Great movies are great stories about the complex conflicts, drama and emotions between people. Acting is challenging cause one has to go deep and find those emotions to fit/create the character. That's crazy to me. Rarely look into the yin yang inside myself. I got new found respect for actors fo sho.Shout-out to Jason Tobin who put it together, my fellow classmates and of course Jeanne Hartman! Thank you! peace
