Not Feeling so Worked Up Now…|反而沒那麼火了...|反而没那麽火了...

Yesterday, Saturday night.  It’s almost 2am after the ball game. Reached home, had a shower, surfed the net, almost fell asleep around 3am and the phone rang!

“Arghh ~ Can’t I spend a weekend night peacefully at home?”

“Hello…”

“Gabe…tune in to MTV channel, quick…”

“Oh…what’s up…”

The last time somebody made such an urgent call in the middle of the night was when Michael Sun appeared on TV…actually thought what’s the great program on air…didn’t know…

“ @#$%%%&^*What the heck is going on??”

3:40am mtv...raised your hands if you’ve watched it?

Is there anybody who will make use of the side shootings of a newly completed MV, including it’s screenshots and edit it into another MV?

Yes ~ Music industry is not doing well in recent years and many companies make use of little gimmicks.  For example, editing the videos taken from artists promotional events and live performances to create a new MV.  This not only saves money for the company, it also allows fans to have different views of the artist’s performances.  When I was with Machi, I had the experience of singing the same song thrice during the promo event so that the videos made can be sold to KTVs.  However, those videos are made specifically for that song!  Watched the MV of “My Own Rhythm” last night, it’s in reality a edited version of “Fading into You”…Such shoddy work + deception…wow! I can only say….record company…you suck!

Unexpectantly…the shocking moment, coupled with the insinuation, didn’t send me to boiling point…I even had a good night’s sleep…

u know why?

Coz that just proves that my initial doubts are not unfounded, proves that this company neither respects its artists,  its copyrighted products nor the consumers…they’ve exposed themselves…or maybe even did it on purpose to sabotage Van…well, stop blaming illegal downloading or piracy! It’s due to such indifference and gimmicking that music is reduced to this stage.

Watch it! Some day, the world will not need you people!

And our efforts will be seen by the world!

''喔...怎麼了...'' 上次有人氣急拜壞半夜三更打電話來的時候,是看到Michael孫在電視上...本來以為有什麼好戲看...殊不知...

有人把一首的剛打完的mv的側拍,包括定裝的畫面,拿來剪成另一支mv的嗎? 對~近年來唱片不景氣,很多唱片公司都會用小小的取巧方式.比方說,用簽唱會的側拍畫面及一些現場表演的錄影來多剪成一部新的mv.幫公司省錢,又可以讓歌迷看到歌手比較不一樣的表現.我在麻吉的時候,就在一場簽唱會,把同一首歌表演了三遍以上,因為要側拍賣給KTV.但那畢竟是專門為那首歌拍的啊!!昨晚看到'自己的節奏''的mv,竟然全是用''我不是自己''的側拍畫面而剪出來的... 如此般的粗製濫造+濫竽充數...哇賽!我只能說...唱片公司...你好0野!

沒想到的是...剎那間的驚訝及被糟蹋的感覺溶在一起竟然沒有讓我心頭火起...還睡得非常安穩...

因為事實證明我之前的懷疑是對的,證明了這間公司不尊重藝人,不尊重屬於自己的版權產品,不尊重消費者...它們自己露了餡,洩了底...or甚至有可能是故意這樣想整Van...well,不要再怪非法下載或盜版了吧!就是有這樣不求進步,愛搞花樣的的人,音樂才會走到這個地步.

睜大眼睛吧!有一天,這個世界將不再需要你們!

而我們的努力,會讓全世界看到!
