Annabel and I are honored to be able to attend at Barack Obama's historic speech today in Manassas, Virginia -- his first of the General Election campaign.
(Sorry we have not been posting lately. The immigration insanity in Prince William County has reached a point where we had to lie low for a while. Even giving our opinion could upset a delicate balance right now. We will be able to explain why this is in coming weeks. Stay tuned!)
Of course we are thrilled that the Democratic Primary is finally over and Barack Obama is the nominee. Annabel is on her way here from Maryland. She is picking up two friends at the Vienna Metro station and we are going to see Obama speak right here in Prince William County, Virginia!!!!
I'll be seeing him speak for the 4th time -- 3rd time for Annabel.
Annabel and Kelly Huwere lucky enough to get a VIP seat on the stage in Las Vegas in January. We got tremendous footage in Maryland in February. And, although we have not posted it yet (lazy me) we got stupendous footage with Andres Useche (Si Se Puede Cambiar video) in Houston, TX in March.
Annabel and I have both been invited to to sit on stage during Obama's speech. I've decided I don't want to look through the lens of a camera like I usually do. So our new 9500 Liberty recruit Luke Hillman will be shooting from the press risers. If we get some good footage, I'll post it to the United For Obama channel.
There are great fears about the traffic situation tonight. We'll keep you posted on how that goes. We plan to get there early and film some interviews while we wait. The finest film of my career, by the way, now has more than 320,000 hits on our channel alone:
