I had dinner at Hong Kong Express with my good friend and partner in crime DY Sao. We talked about the usual stuff like the status of our project “Rooks” and future projects being developed, food, movies coming out, food, music and did I mention food. (Is that my stomach rumbling or yours?)We sat there discussing the future and eating Chinese food and then it dawned on me – (Take the damn picture - I'm hungry!)Chinese food and the future! Both every changing and filled with sweet pleasures… fills you up but never really satisfy the hunger. (Beef Broccoli/Orange Chicken)I find myself constantly hustling to obtain my goals but in the end will I truly be satisfied? (Green Bean Chicken/Spar Ribs)I think not because I’m constantly changing like the days of the week… I ask myself, “ Will Chinese food be the same in ten or twenty years from now?” (House Special Spicy Chicken)I doubt it but I will appreciate it and enjoy it as long as I can! I was thinking that if this filmmaking gig doesn’t workout… DY and I can always be food critics traveling the world filling up on life! Let’s go people… the future is waiting!
