Despite having a few things in the video that we were tempted to go back and fix, we (and the band) decided to push the music video live on Youtube.
Here's the link. We're going to try and get as many eyeballs on it as possible, so please forward the link around to your Bush-loving buddies!

Done.
And I can't tell you how relieved I am.
I was planning on writing up this blog with more production notes, photos, and videos...but I'm exhausted. We presented the video to the class, guests and client yesterday afternoon. It was well received.
There are a few glitches and some bugs that we would have fixed had we had more time. Perhaps we'll go back and fix those if the band ever want...Read more
The past few days have been busy and hectic as we had to turn in our "fine cut" on Saturday. There was as whirlwind of productivity to make the deadline, but it came out well and I think we're on track to finish on time. Still a bunch of elements to fit in and a lot of fine tuning.
Here's another screen shot of one of the pages from the pop up book. Bush and Cheney go hunting!
As I said before, there were a lot of asset to be built for this project. Some included sketches which developed into inked illustrations, which were then scanned and edited digitally for animation.

this coming term, our group assignment will be to produce a music video. we'll have to shoot all the footage, create and incorporate all the motion graphics and visual effects, and edit all together.
so what are your favorite music videos?
i need some inspiration!
(though i won't know what music group, song, nor type of music until we get our assignment on saturday)
just finished up another term here and that means two final projects in the can. the past few weeks have been incredibly busy for me. i think in one week i was in the computer lab 60-80 hours. partially due to time mismanagement on my part. partially due to some challenges in the project developing in way that i hadn't quite planned for.
i should take this moment to thank my buddy Drake for unknowingly providing much of the inspiration...Read more
