Preparing for the Oscars. Apart from watching movies and reading research, I've been cooking and eating. These are my homemade banana pancakes with 100% Canadian maple syrup (not shown). Maple syrup is something I didn't like as a kid and ironically, now that I don't live in Canada anymore, I've grown to love the stuff. Grrrr...can someone bring me a bottle next time they're in the land of beavers and canoes?
