In this little blog I'd like to give a shout out to my film buddy Danish director Shaun Rana. Shaun Rana is probably one of the most innovative young directors coming out of Denmark right now.His feature film debut Westbrick Murders ( Starring my film-partner Daniell Edwards ) is having a worldwide release over the next couple of months. The title of my favourite film-book 'A Rebel Without A Crew' is probably the best way to describe Shaun. On Westbrick Murders his job titles included Director, Editor, Cinematographer, Script-Writer, Composer and the list goes on and on! You get the picture.. Basically a Danish Robert Rodriguez take no prisoners I'm gonna make my movie kind of guy;)Well, a couple of months ago Shaun asked me and Daniell to come help him shoot this pilot he was working on called Warren Lich. It was a two day shoot in an old ware-house all filmed in front of a green-screen. Daniell and I got to co-ordinate stunts and do some fight-scenes. For the quick-eyed you can see me do a 'kung fu-pose' and also do the "Snatch-Brad Pitt" reaction to a punch. The set we shot on was very simple.. As usual Shaun handled all parts himself and the only production stuff we had on set was a Panasonic HVX, 5 work lamps, some cheap chroma-key fabric and a ROPE for wiring! Nevertheless we had a great time shooting this. But I was really in awe when I saw the result.. So here it is ladies and gentlemen.. A 'concept trailer' for Warren Lich a film by Shaun Rana.To see more of Shaun's work go to his official sitewww.shaunrana.dkFollowing is Making Of and The Final Trailer.Enjoy!Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szkQmxRDKlM
