The Chivas virtual band came out with a bunch of new songs again, so I thought I’d check it out. The song that caught my attention this time is about honour and glory. It’s a good upbeat song that I could totally imagine myself playing while driving through the city. The remix is definitely Friday night dance material too. There’s even a new collaboration song with Kenji Wu ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Kenji_Wu) 

I was contemplating afterwards when it was, that I felt truly honoured in my life. This brought me back to year 2000 when I was invited to sing in front of the 8 heads of State at the G8 Summit alongside Namie Amuro in Okinawa, Japan. 

Most of you may not know this, but in 2000, I released my first EP under Japanese producer, Tetsuya Komuro. I was only 15 then… I had entered into an Asia-wide competition and won a record contract. This was swiftly followed by doing my first recordings in Hawaii and, later, a Japan tour. So here I was, brain half matured, standing on stage for the first time (it was my first performance!) in front of President Clinton, Vladimir Putin and others, singing my heart out. It was an electrifying experience and I felt so honoured to have been invited to such a prestigious event! 

It was so good to think back to a moment of feeling honoured in my life. It is so easy to go along with life, at our respective paces, and forget to feel gratitude for the things that brought you here (good things or bad things, in fact!). We are so focused on the goals ahead that we forget to honour ourselves and what we have already achieved. I find that, only with a sense of gratitude, can we really find happiness in the present moment.

芝華士虛擬樂隊又推出幾首新歌了﹐所以我認為要去調查一下. 這次有一首講述榮耀及光榮的歌吸引了我的注意。 其實這首歌曲很樂觀和很有節奏﹐ 真的可以想像到自己在城市駕車時聽著這首歌。而且﹐ 歌曲的remix版很適合那些星期五晚的跳舞派對。 他們還與 吳克群合作的新歌。 

後來﹐當我在思忖的時候﹐感到自己的一生真是很榮幸。 這令我回憶到2000年﹐當時我被邀請去日本沖繩縣﹐ 在八大工業國組織盛會 - 簡稱G8﹐為八位國家元首面前與安室奈美惠同台演出。 

大家可能不知道﹐2000那一年﹐ 我在著名日本監製小室哲哉的旗下﹐推出了首張迷你專輯(EP)。 當時我只得15歲...參加了一個全亞洲的比賽﹐ 贏得唱片公司的合約。接下來﹐我去了夏威夷首次錄歌﹐ 然後去日本做巡迴演唱會。當時﹐我的腦袋還未成熟﹐ 第一次站在台上﹐在美國總統柯林頓﹐俄羅斯黨主席弗拉基米爾· 普京﹐還有其他元首面前用心唱歌(這是我第一次演出!)。 這次的經驗真刺激又興奮﹐ 而且被邀請到這麼威望的活動演出令我感到非常榮幸! 

想起自己一生中﹐感到榮幸的那一刻真痛快。 人人都會隨著自己的速度步行人生﹐ 但同時也會忘記要感激那些樣你達到這一步的成就(好事以及壞事! )。我們實在太集中於將來的目標﹐ 反而忘記要尊敬自己和感激自己的成就。我覺得﹐ 只要懷著感激的心態﹐我們現在可以找到真正的幸福。
