My cousin visits Hong Kong for the FIRST time!!!
What happens when you leave the USA suburbs for the very first time???
Shock shock and more shock!
Bustling city roads, efficient transport, people walking as though they are always in a hurry...
Fish balls tasting like rubber, a craving for Cheetos, food with very different textures to fried chicken and mickey d's ... these are only SOME of the many phenomenas Stew experienced....
Jill and I took him all around HK and Macau...
The photo journey begins with my dog - Bon Bon, she sniffs Stew when he walks in and surprisingly does not bark at him. She knows who family is...
Then comes, breaking the ice... I haven't seen Stew since I lived with him and his family in New Jersey when I was 14, obviously there was a lot of catching up to do, especially between Jill and him, he hasn't seen Jill since she was... 4 years old!!! Boy, has she grown!
Then there was the Peak - what a beautiful day, the sun comes out after a string of stormy days, the picturesque view always stops tourists at their feet. I still have yet to find a city more beautiful than ours....
You know he's got our blood - weirdnesss
You know you are sisters when you.... cough... look the same doing weird faces, just different hair
We went to Macau for independence day, he saw the photo of me from when I climbed the mast in 2003... not an experience I will ever forget
The beautiful view
The table cloth says everything - happy independence day
Cat fight - it's MY marshmallow
You can't go to Macau without paying the Venetian a visit, my good friend Reggie was kind enough to take us around, btw they boast a good band at their bellini bar!
Ocean Park will always be Hong Kong's no.1 park, at least in the minds of us older generation ppl before Disney came along, the drop (forgot what it was called) was the scariest ride for sure!!)
Here is Qi Qi eating her bamboo, Stew said he never realised Pandas were so small, I guess I never realised that either - was kinda hoping Qi Qi would bust out some Kung Fu but I was hoping for a little too much value for my money haha
I thought this was a nice shot, cable car frenzy
What is visiting HK without a boat trip? right? well, unfortunately my uncle booked it on the wrong day... despite the weather man saying it'd be sunny, it was stormy weather all day! Think the weather man is taking a break?
Good efforts Stewey who brough his sunnies out despite the dreadfulness...
Then comes chilling out with my mates, can't experience hong kong without experiencing the night life right?
