trying to go home from JFK with DELTA for x'mas 09..... flight was supposed to be 8 hours, and turned out spending 5 hours at the airport on the first day (trying to check in then line up for rebook) and 7 more on the second ( hopefully to be called for standby)......it was simpliy because they were under staffs and bad arrangement. by the time i got to the check in counter on the first day, they said they cannot check me in no more, to be exact, they can chec kme in but not my bags and they cannot let me go on the plane and deal with my bags later. SO they made me missed my flight ( so were the other 60 people who were experiencing the same thing with me) even though i was at the airport 2 hours before take off...
DELTA=Doesn't Even LeaveTheAirport... having said that , I gotta say I do appreciate those staffs from DELTA that tried to help, they did what they could, they were obviously overworked and they were sooo under staff... but i am very very disappointed at the company's policy and arrangement, I just can't believe how a big company like that have NO damage control and crisis management plan.....DELTA? no thanks!
