Living the Dream

This Saturday is jammed packed for me. First I will be going to the Tribute to Nirvana/Kurt Cobain show at BACKSTAGE that FBI will be opening for. Then, as soon as I have finished my set I have to run over to The Fringe Club where I will be the MC for HK Live! once again.

Abit of a shame that I have to miss out on watching the rest of the Tribute show because I am eager to listen to more Nirvana covers and see the other band's take on them.

We were only asked a few weeks ago to play for this show so we haven't had much time to practice. Especially because Nice (our drummer) went to China for a week. So, we have had only one practice... last night. It sounded okay for one practice, but we really need another night to pull it together and become tighter.

We were supposed to go on later on in the night until I realised that HK Live! was the same night, then we had to opt to be the first band. Abit annoying as now we have to be the first band and have not as much of the crowd. But, ohwell, it just means if we play shit that there won't be as many people there to hear it. haha. But, I am sure it will be cool. I have sung these songs karoake style since I was a kid. I love Nirvana to bits.
