I don't know whether I should be mortified or just laugh. When given the choice, I usually choose the latter and so it was with great laughter this week I played the role of a father for a photo shoot with EISA, a pharmaceutical company. It's not so much that I might be a father in real life. After all, men far younger than me have kids today, but rather, it was the fact that they made my daughter a 14 year old one! 14!? Take a look, do we seem like dad and daughter?
The make-up artist added some wrinkles to my eyes in an effort to give me some age. I dare say it didn't work, but oh well. I was just a hired gun. I do as I'm directed and if it means making me feel 15 years older than I really am, I just roll with it. And since my little girl was a joy to work with, I didn't mind one bit. It was funny cause throughout the course of the day, I actually started to feel like her dad. When she ditched our catered lunch to go out and buy 2 slices of cheese pizza, I nearly wanted to berate her. Then she smiled and my heart melted.
Some friends I met in HK last summer through the AnD circle coming to town this week...should be fun! If anyone has a spare liver, please lend forth.
