To further display the prowess of our villainous volleyball vixens (Jessica C and Phoenix Valen), we show them in training at the Swish Thai Boxing gym in Causeway Bay. (You can see the same facility used as a location in the recent comedy Gallants).

Natasha and Natalie (Nat and Nat) train under the eagle eye of a martial arts maestro played by Philip Ng. Philip was a late addition to the cast, and turned up knowing nothing about the project beyond the title! It fell to me to tell him who was what and why...

He got into character right away, and did a fantastic job putting our iron ladies through their paces.

I've worked with Philip since he first came to Hong Kong. We used him as a vampire in The Twins Effect, and he was also in the cast of Dragon Squad, on which I was a producer. A devotee of Choy Li Fut and Wing Chun kung fu, he recently trained in my beloved Hung Gar on an RTHK documentary.

The Swish set was also graced by the presence of Alive Not Dead mainstay Patrick Lee.

We were really lucky to find two actresses as gorgeous and as athletic as Jessica and Phoenix.

The sequence took all night to shoot, but our lethal ladies looked just as lovely in the early hours (I wish I could say the same...)
