Hey folks,
Sorry for the dark blog I post last time. I'm totally over it. It ranks in the realm of getting facebook friend rejected/unfriended by someone. Anyway, this is something I can't live without - photoshop. I've been using it for close to 10 years now. Its totally synonymous with photography and people think its the best invention since sliced bread (clients all want stuff keyed in, hardily anything is natural anymore). Back in art school, not too long ago, I was still shooting film, shooting with strobes (the pro word for flash) and without Polaroids. I had to rely on instinct then cause if you shot 300 exposures and not get the right shot, you'd just be wasting money. I still shoot with a lot of instinct but I think the quality of work is not as good as my film work.
Anyway more to the point, whilst learning photoshop I would read anything I could to learn techniques. Now with youtube and every other tube, you can learn without reading (and I'm ridiculing myself when I say I couldn't read till I got to art school). I've recently found some interesting and funny photoshop tutorial videos on the internet. I can't say they're absolutely didactic but I got a good laugh out of them. Enjoy!
