Finally, my Shawshank Redemption DVD dat's been collecting dust on my shelf for over 10 years, I finally got around to it. Apparently this is a blasphemous act of negligence for a sworn film buff. It is indeed a beautiful uplifting movie with beautiful monologues narrated by Morgan Freeman. Tim Robbins' enigmatic performance got me wondering, where is he now? No wonder Shawshank Redemption was deemed one of da most important films juxtaposed among classics like Godfather. Now, perhaps I move on to da next dusty DVD dat has sat there for 5 years.
