If you don’t know who Brian Wong is, he’s an up and coming race car driver with a very promising future as the youngest person to receive a Porsche racing license. He’s also the first Chinese American speed racer in NASCAR history! Check out this promo vid of him:

Brian is a native of Newport Beach, California, a fifth generation Chinese American and a lifelong motorsports enthusiast.
At age 17 Brian was the youngest to receive his Porsche racing license and progress again up the competition ladder. His racing ability was recognized in 2010 by Porsche Motorsports with an invitation as one of 12 young race drivers in the world, to Germany and Italy for a driver assessment. In 2010 Brian raced in the prestigious and competitive American Le Mans Series, the IMSA Challenge Series, the Porsche SuperCup series in Europe (companion race to the F1 races) and the NASCAR West.
Throughout his career, Brian has raced upwards of 35 events a year, while attending school at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, currently on a one year break to pursue his racing career.
What started as a fun hobby has quickly turned into a professional dream for Brian. Having traveled and raced in Europe, Canada, America, and China, Brian has gained a wealth of experience in racing and looks to continue his career in Asia.
For 2011 Brian has signed contracts to race for teams in 2 others series, in the American Le Mans Series and in NASCAR.
