Yeah - I'm not sure how well this will translate - maybe that's why he's not more popular. Basically - what is brilliant to me about this is the actor's ability to capture so many exagerated details in such a broad character without actually going overboard with the performance.

You know... in acting there is tool called "center-work." This is when an actor will pick a part of their bodies and build a character from there. Jeremy Irons is famous for having done this in the movie where he played identical twins. Everyone said "But you could tell which character was which!" - that's because he'd placed the characters from different parts of his body. Billy Bob Thorton did this in swing blade. It's a very common and effective tool. You can see here, this actor is using his hands and the lack of knowing what to do with them - something which actually oftens affects people in front of a motion camera.
