Happy New Year!
Don’t worry if your New Year resolution hasn’t been fulfilled, because there’s always Lunar New Year! I know you haven’t heard from us since December, but now we’re gearing up for another eventful year of filmmaking. One current project, I’m currently involved with is the feature film, Vampariah, written and directed by, Matt Abaya. Production started in January and will continue throughout ...Read more

Heya,
Over the weekend Robin, Grant, and I helped our friend, James Feng at RiLL Films, with his entry into the 72 Hour Film Shootout competition. Dan and I are no strangers as we battled in this competition before in 2007. If you’re unfamiliar, filmmakers have 72 hours to write, produce, edit, and submit a 5 minute short. If that sounds hectic, it is, but also fun!

As independent filmmakers, we get to tell the stories we want and the way we want to. This is a great feeling, but there are bou...Read more
