Hip Star Squeezes into the DC APA Film Festival

In our efforts to raise awareness of the hipster epidemic, we managed to get an audience with the big wigs at the nation’s capital! That’s right, Hip Star has been selected to be screened at the 12th Annual DC APA Film Festival! Our screening is on Saturday, October 08, 2011 , so be sure to stop by if you’re in town. This marks our second East Coast appearance.

I have never been to this film festival, nor to Washington D.C., so I jumped at the opportunity to attend. Getting to travel with a purpose is definitely a great perk to being a filmmaker. I look forward to meeting the festival organizers, other filmmakers, watching the films, and of course, no festival is complete without after parties!
