I was trying to explain to a friend in China what 'competitive eating' was last night....

Because my good friend Desmond was holding an eating competition today and although I declined to participate,  I was looking forward to going to watch.  Oh btw,  this is a McDonalds-based eating competition.  The theme for this competition - how many McDonalds Hamburgers can you eat in 90 minutes?   :-P

They took many more pictures than I did,  and I video too,  so I'll keep my blog brief, to serve more as a teaser than anything else...

Desmond and friends (including Grace and Dan Tran) assembled at the McDonalds in Admiralty.    When I arrived they were well up into their burger counts, but still going strong:

It looks like he is eating an entire burger in one bite.... but he actually is just finishing off the last bit of one.  I think this was #11...

But at the end of the 90 minutes the winner was clear...  Congrats to Burt:
