I guess I'm going out of order, here's something that happened on Sunday afternoon when I went to Kobe with Radwynn, Koko and Cocoa.
Radwynn suggested we stop by an interesting mall that specialized in games, anime, models and action figures and collectible dolls, etc. These kind of specialty shops are relatively rare in Japan outside of places like Akihabara... and as you can imagine, they're also very entertaining to browse through in many ways. Even though its against the rules, of course you know I took pics! :-P
It starts off pretty innocent.
premade figures from some popular Anime series, etc....
then things quickly get creepy:
yes, they sell blank bodies that you can customize... and since these are usually for anime characters... there's no need to match any sort of anatomically correct proportions. Look at the freakazoid on the top right with the giant candy apple head and p0rn star breasts. :-O
Getting the body is the first step, but may want to switch out to a fancier head...
And once you have the head, you're going to need to get the right eyes:
They come in green, blue, brown and red... but just don't look at the price.... (US$19 for a set of four colors).
After that, you have to put some clothes on your glandular disorder redeyed doll? time to hit up the clothing section:
yes, you could make your own, or you could just buy these nice off-the-shelf outfits. All the major types of clothing are represented - maid costumes, skin tight bodysuits, spaceship uniforms, thigh high stockings, sexy boots, leather lingerie, bunny ears, you name it!
actually the most amazing thing about this stuff was the cost! the maid costume was about US$35 and the boots were like $50! you could buy a real set of boots or maid costume for a real girl for the price of dressing up your doll... :-P
Actually the place wasn't just for guys making dolls and dressing them in softcore p0rn outfits:
they also had an extensive section for male dolls and their clothing (mostly military uniforms).
they also had some examples of completed dolls and figures on display for sale:
ok... not THAT bad, right? :-P
that's just a bit weird... only US$135! !
The real weird stuff was in the 'rental cases' (a set of plastic cases that they rent out to private individuals in order to sell their items to the store's customers). This one is was full of p0rn figurines:
in case you can't see all the overflowing perversion captured in scale sized plastic. I made a few zoom ins...
ok. no doubt about it... that is NOT healthy. :-P
just want you want to put on your bookshelf! :-D
oh yes, Japanese otaku stores, always fun for a visit....
