Diesel Adidas Party - Featuring 24 Herbs + Sam Lee!

sorry for the lack of blogs! things have been super busy, as you can probably guess!  I haven't even started on my Josie pics yet!  I was too busy editing video for this... ごめん！最近とても忙しい!これは先週のイベントからの写真です。アディダスとディセールギーンス一緒パーティーでした。

Last wednesday we were lucky to get to go to a launch party for a Diesel-Adidas Collaboration.  I'm not sure who's idea it was and who's designers did what, but basically they got together and made a cool line of Diesel Jeans w/ Adidas logos/stripes on it....

This month's issue of Milk magazine featured a cool spread of several of AnD's artists wearing the new products,  here's a picture of one:

The tag line of the event was something like '90 ways to waste time' (or was it 80-something? i forgot).

Anyway the point is, its a good excuse to throw a party!

Luckily Diesel and Adidas have stores next door to each other in CWB, so they turned both into a party space... and they had a bunch of interesting exhibitions and activities set up... a bit cliched perhaps... this kind of stuff isn't what makes a fun party fun, but it certainly gives you something to talk about the next day. :-P

On the right there you can see the Adidas bed that had a bunch of models sitting on it... they also had two models pillow fighting inside the storefront display case...  I thought that was a little weird...  whenever i see stuff like that I'm reminded of Planet of the Apes where they put humans on display in Zoos... :-P

Anyway, a great turnout from AnD artists and friends:

Race+Rosanne = 2R,  and 2R + Ryan = 3 R's,  but that can't compete w/ 3 Patricks... 

I was mainly looking forward to seeing my favorite 6-man Hip-Hop group perform,  yes 24Herbs were on the bill as well as DJing by Sam Lee, aka DJ Becareful.  I put together a video of course.  今晩24味は演じたから、僕はビデオもちろん撮った。Sam Lee（ 李璨琛）もDJした、僕のビデオを見て！

That was all in the Adidas store part,  after their performance we went to the Diesel side... and look who's smiling face we ran into!

Later on my pals MissyKand MCG rolled up.  I got to check out another one of her Fi-Hi stereo bags...

They gave me a hard time for saying I wouldn't want to get arrested and/or made fun of for wearing their silver backpack last week...   But after playing with this thing, I was quite impressed,  w/ 4 AA batteries you can get pretty good sound!  (On Sunday night, we tested it out in the middle of Tsui Hua!)

OK,  make a non-metallic, non-purse version and i'm there. ;-)

Last but not least,  I spotted this mack daddy hangin' out outside:

damn, he's rolling high class!    I was afraid my camera may not be able to handle all that photogenicness (photogeniality?) in one photo,  luckily it didn't shatter the lens.
