it's amazing how respected Wing Chun is in the world of bare-knuckle fighting. Bruce Lee's foundation came from Wing Chun. the founder of Wing Chun was a LADY named Wing Chun. She realized that men are stronger so she developed this technique to use the opponents power against them. yes, i believe in the "power in the technique" concept. Bruce and Yip Man (his master). Donnie Yen is currently making a movie about Yip Man .
the strikes are short, fast, and to the point (the distinctive rolling punches is nothing to sneeze at). my knowledge about wing chun is not thorough. Many movies have been made about Wing chun the lady. and there's donnie again haha.
KRAV MAGA is a fighting style used my the special forces in Israel and recently gain recognition in the world for it's practicality. through Hearsay, i've heard they sometimes practice on moving vehicles for more accurate-to-war simulation.
many practitioners combine wing chun and krav maga because it ends the fight quickly... but not painlessly hahahahahhahahahahahhaah ...sorry.
what does this have to do with me? i will be PUNCHING OUT NUNS ON A MOVING PUBLIC SCHOOL BUS on july 31st!!! uh... j/k.
the video game company NAMCO is auditioning for someone who knows the fusion between wing chun and krav maga.
and soooooo i shot the video below. what i realized is that it actually would look REALLY REALLY REALLY good on film... what an epiphany! cuz the general consensus is that PRACTICAL martial arts looks horrible on film. i've shown people and they said that my form is still very clean and coupled with the aggressive expression.. it's natures PERFECT marriage of power and grace!!! well, maybe those weren't their exact words hehe.
this is the first time i've done wing chun on video. what u guys think?
(5 of my stunt team total auditioned so if you would like to check out all the vids click on the video and it'll take you there)
