Hi I'm 27. I was born in the middle of the Khmer Rouge civil war in Cambodia. As refugees, my family escaped the communist regime and fled to America where I was raised in the low-income neighborhoods of Long Beach. I recognized his love for the martial arts at an early age. I recall when I was 7 years old my father took me to a karate school only to come home heart broken. Martial arts was a luxury that we could not afford. To make up for it, my dad watched the karate class from afar and tried to draw some techniques for me to learn. My hope to train at a martial arts school faded as my childhood years passed, but I remained fascinated with martial arts. From watching great stars like Jet Li, Donnie Yen and Jackie Chan, My friends and I were inspired to imitate and create movements in the martial spirit. We played with the Wushu style not knowing what it really was. I was first introduced to Wushu in August of 2000, at age 21. With My younger sister Dary, we joined the Southern California Wushu Academy located in Garden Grove, CA. Sifu Chris Ho took me under his wing despite the fact that financially, I did not have much, if anything, to offer in return. Sifu Chris Ho's generosity made wushu possible for me, and in return I I donated my heart to reciprocate Sifu Ho's generosity. In Aug. 2003, I made the US National Wushu Kung Fu team and successfully attained a bachelor's in Psychology from UC Irvine.

i took 17th in Long fist and 6th in Broadsword.
I am now placing the same type of dedication I did towards martial arts as I am towards acting. I love method acting, so maybe one day I can inspire those just as i was inspired. I'm also expanding my physical repertoire to muay thai, tkd, mma, tricks, stunt falls, boxing, jeet kune do, tumbling, etc.
