Everlast Pre-Production AHHHHH!

Yeah so I don’t know if Hard Copy will win and it’s killing me! I hope John Woohoo will overlook the short gunbattle and see the potential in the boy-that-pulls-aerials-without-shooting-himself-in-the-foot!

but I’m actually more stressed about something else.L

I’m currently in pre-production for Everlast The Movie (there’s also Everlast The Comic based on the movie that will be coming out Oct. 2007). Principle shooting will begin July 9 th for about 2-3 wks but the movie won’t be out until June 2008.

Why am I pulling my hair out?

 Because the set design is not ready!

The wardrobe is not ready!

and the weapons are not all here yet!

On a positive note, all the actors are committed and ready to do some crazy stuff. I’m the choreographer and I’m mixing some Jet Li, some Donnie Yen, a lot of Jackie Chan, a few Tony Jaa and a brand new fantasy style I’m experimenting with.JHopefully the casualty count will remain low.

The budget is small but we’re really close to having a distribution deal with MiraMax. Keep your fingers crossed baby!
