so every second of every thursday is ARTWALK - where all the galleries are open and free of admission

i have some work at a restaurant in downtown los angeles called ‘Syrup Desserts’ - Syrup is located on the corner of 6th and Spring street in downtown.

this past artwalk was beyond successful - tons of people came to support me and the business.. i also sold 2 paintings “down with the ship” and “salmon swim upstream” - congrats to alice!

this month’s models: Eunice Oh and Import model sensation, Kira Kaye.

the photographer i signed up for the even was Joey De La Rama, his pictures are being edited at the moment.. until then, i have some wonderful photos by ZORRO YABUT and Duncan ~

the paintings behind Eunice were actually hidden in the storage of the restaurant, i took them out of seclusion so that my work can get some breathing room.. turns out i sold one of them and the other painting on display.

Kira Kaye is in the foreground. something about the color of her shoes really appealed to me, thius decided to use the color of her shoes as inspiration.

if you notice on the bottom left corner, eunice has her hand on kira. this way, the painting can stretch from eunice’s back, go down her arm, go up kira’s leg, and then wrapping around kira’s body. it was a good time.

inspired by the color of kira kaye’s shoes… made me want to expand the energy.

as long as eunice’s hand was on kira’s ankle, this mean both girls have a wrap around body painting that stretches from one back to another. pretty sweet.
