How Shanghai TV channel works...

Since Monday, i'm doing the new opening for a tv show, broadcast on ICS...

Today, the boss come and say "forget the animation for our tv show(...) We have meeting for a new projects"

I say COOOOL.

but the meeting wasn't cool at all for me after 2 minutes.

A very shanghai small tv chanel need new visual identity for them, sounds good for me!

But when they say, i have to do the opening and ending for each news (morning, after noon, evening and midnight), for few shows, and also some Text Reveal.... (for info, i'm alone in this company for the after effects team....)... TOTAL = 15 videos animations!!!!!

And the client ask 3D animation also... bad luck, i'm not good at 3D animation!

But my boss will hire someone as part-time job (?????) for "help" me... (of course...)

can u guess for when they need this?

for next week!!!! i was asking them  "sorry... the next week ....about the next year?"

First, the client don't know what they want.. they dont have any specific idea, so... no storyboard yet, no elements, nothing... i must find everything by myself and... after the all videos is finish... must give to the music studio for make the soundtrack for each musics... so i have less than one week.. and alone...

when i told them that the real TV channel have a big team with like 15 peoples for make animations/.. they say its too much you can do all by yourself...

i told them, i refuse to do it alone and not for in less than 2 weeks... no way, this kind of thing need at least 3 month and maybe more for find the idea, storyboard and check if they accept the storyboard etc etc etc...

My boss is a big funny guy also, when he say "but .. we already sign the contract.."

AHAHAHHA what a joke!!! you sign a contract without come to consult me first?... Nice... specialy for people they open a media company and they know nothing about this world!!!!

Sometimes... they really dont think before sign or talk.. they just focus on the big number in the end of the contract... you know the number before "euro", Dollars or yuan...

damn it!

.. I'm really thinking to quit this job and find a really professional company....
