iPhone 3G New York City

I am a true and dyed APPLE MAC fanatic (never use any window system but only use XP Pro maybe 3% of time). But yesterday, I was amazed to read that lots of people are already queuing in NYC's Fifth Avenue Apple Store FIVE days in advance of the 11 July 2008 launch to get the first lot of iPhone 3G. Is the world going crazy or what? I am sure Apple has truck load of iPhone 3G. Anyway, I will wait and see what 3HK has got to offer on the 11 July 2008.

but if you get the 500mb of data, i think the need for 'picture messages' (which i have yet to ever use) will be gone. either way they screw you on external SMS... but even at $0.7/each, the extra cost you'd pay to send the same # as the $498 plan is only $24.50... (i'll email them instead...) :-P
