Wil Mancia is a man on the move. Born in El Salvador, Wil’s family made a fateful move to the U.S.when he was a boy. That move forever changed his life and musical direction. Raised on a diet of Latin Rhythms, Progressive House and Trance Wil understood the importance of a diverse musical palette from an early age. As a youth Wil cut his teeth working at the legendary Backside Records in Burbank California and Definitive Music in Hollywood, CA serving up the latest underground grooves to many clients. Never one to miss an opportunity, Wil would pedal his forward thinking and fresh Progressive House mixes on the side, sliding demos to the music enthusiasts, DJ’s and booking agents who frequented the shop. In 2005 Wil made a fateful pilgrimage to the legendary island of Ibiza, Spain where he was fortunate to land dream gigs at Cafe Savannah and Sugar Sea.

Flash forward to 2017. Wil has his sights set on the top tier of the dance music industry. Wil has graced the decks and rocked the house at some of Southern California’s hottest night spots including Circus, Red, TEN Nightclub and Exchange LA. When he’s not behind the decks Wil is in the studio crafting futuristic and forward thinking dance music to be released soon on his label Essential Grooves.
