Alright guys, I’m currently assisting in casting for a feature-length Independent romantic comedy that is currently in production. However, we are having problem finding the right talents who can portray the lead actress’s parents and grandma

Colin Hearts Kay is a romantic comedy featuring a combination of live action and unique “indie comic” animation. The feature is being created on a shoe-string budget of 50k. The Conley Brothers´ Emmy-winning filmmaking and animation experience enables them to create innovative visuals with limited financial resources.

When Brooklyn-based cartoonist Colin Jenson breaks up with longtime girlfriend Kay Ho, he pulls out all the stops to win her back including dragging her into the illustrated world of his cartoons.

Life definitely imitates art in this micro-budget gem that seeks to answer the age old question: What is Love?

This is a SAG feature film, under the Ultra-low budget agreement. Both SAG and Non-SAG can apply. (SAG Actors get paid $100 / Day) Copy and Credit provided.

The filming will take place in Park Slope, Brooklyn (New York) in August 2009

Grandma Ho: Female, 70's or 80's, Chinese or Asian descent Tough, grumpy matriarch. The role will only require 1 day of filming.

Mrs. Ho: Female, 50’s or 60's, Chinese or Asian descent. Stern firecracker with a temper. The role is required for 3 days of filming.

Mr. Ho: Male, 50's or 60's, Chinese or Asian descent. Wise, stern, yet loving family patriarch. The role is required for 3 days of filming.
