Boy Oh Boy...

Got the revised "Catchin' Up with Fred" scrīpt, and was shocked to see the changes done to the original scrīpt.

Personally, I felt that the theme had shifted from "Cute, Funny, Comedy" into something that's very "Graphical, Over the Top, and Wicked."

It basically jumped from PG13 to NC17. Especially there are more implied and scenes that may be too much for kids.

But then again, who said this short film is made for kids?

Based on the previous version, I established my character as someone people would find..."Fun" or "Cute" - just someone that can be easily approached. A fun loving "Unique" individual.

However...

The new scrīpt has a different ending. More lines and character developement for "Miranda." - Instead of being the "Fun Loving" type, I have to give "Miranda" a rather complex personality. I have decided to draw my inspirations from Samatha (from Sexy and the City), Regina George (from Mean Girls), Belly Dancing Twins, Nikko (the Wicked Witch's head winged monkey in The Wizard of Oz) and Lucian (from Underworld).

I know, it's a weird combination. But based on the lines given and the interaction between "Miranda" with other characters, this would be perfect.

The filming starts this Friday, and I know it will be fun. My only concern is... No one has said anything regarding wardrobe or if I need to prepare anything. I mean, if I have to protrait a Transexual Prositute, I've gotta look damn good. ( There's a difference between a Transexual and a Drag Queen. A Drag Queen is a Female impersonator. But a Transexual is someone who believes he should have been born a Woman. - At least, that's how I see it.)
