OG skate session

It was a special skate session down at Chai Wan last Tuesday, because many of the OG skaters came out to join the fray…

In addition to the regular crew, the OG Shatin “Big Cave” crew; Lee Hawk & Frankie “A-Pang” & KS (from Subcrew) & Deacon came down, & super rare appearance by Hudson, who popped down to check out what all the hype was about.

A mad skate session that night… there were at least 30 people at the skate park.

Here, Nigel & Walking were battling on the ramp, I was waiting to see who would crash into who first.

Deacon, a.k.a. “Yu Dan” or fishball amazed everyone with his impossibles.

We can’t even remember when was the last time we skated with him, or when he skated last for that matter, 10+ years ago?  Anyway, Deacon was one of the first skaters I met in HK back in the 80’s.

Hudson; the original Ollie King of Hong Kong, AMAZED us all with the flip tricks he was doing…..

And he still got his amazing POP Ollies!!  Dayeeemmm SUN!

Ollie over 8 boards, & that is without skateboarding for over 3 years!

Back in the day, I think he ollied over a double decker bus.

It was SO Good to skate with these guys, many of them were the pioneers of skateboarding in HK & are major players in the “industry” today.   Skateboarding for the love of it!!
