ELEMENT MAKE IT COUNT Contest 2012 Hong Kong Station
Overall Contest Winner Will Be Awarded an All Expenses Paid LA Skate Trip
Make it Count is a series of events throughout the world to seek out new talent and bring the element message of social awareness, environmental stewardship and positivity to communities that support skateboarding and to who are inspired by it.
Winner of each stop will receive an all expenses paid trip to the finals in the Sequoia National Forest at Element Skate Camp in California and also get a chance to skate at the new Berrics skatepark in Los Angeles, CA.
In addition to an unforgettable week, they will have the chance to become sponsored by Element Skateboards. This is truly an amazing experience for any individual who wants to pursue a career in skateboarding.
The entry fee for each event is free with one can of food to be donated to The Youth Outreach – Hong Kong.
This year, we have 35 countries and 50 cities joining the series, including Sweden, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, UK, Italy, Spain, Los Angeles, Orlando. And, Hong Kong is proud to be the 33 rd station. The event will take place on 26 th May in Mei Foo Skate Park.
Contest Format :
Contest Format will be in; Jam session, Best Trick & High Ollie Contest. Overall winner from both Jam Session and the Best Trick will be awarded an all expenses paid trip to LA to compete in the MIC finals.
One Canned Food Item as Entry Fee, bring the element message of social awareness to the community
The entry fee for all contestants will be one canned food item, and the collected cans from the event will go to a charitable organization – The Youth Outreach. This is part of the Element’s Changing lives through skateboarding program supported by the Elemental Awareness group. The first 50 spectators, who also bring one canned food item, will be entitled to a free Element goodies bag.

The Berrics is an indoor skate park founded in Los Angeles in 2007 which is privately owned by two professional skateboarders, Steve Berra and Eric Koston.
