This is a flick of the view of the place where we are staying. Its a ski resort in winter & a golf resort in Summer. The skate park is like 15 - 20 mins away, & downtown is even further away. I take back what I said yesterday about Korea being the “most connected” country on earth; coz here at the resort there ain’t no internet connection in our rooms & we have to go to the business centre to use the internet connection… They got 2 computers & 2 additional lan lines & if you got your own laptop, you gotta wait until someone else is finished with it. Well, lucky I brought my Airport express ( a wifi router ) & so now 7 people are using the internet at the same time. DUH…..
The transport to the skate park was limited, so we caught the 11am bus to the spot & was there till 7:30pm… right after lunch, it rained hard & the place got soaked. We had to wait for a couple of hours for this to dry before we resumed the contest.
While we were waiting, the Indonesian skaters arrived, I was psyched to see Indra Leonardo, a funny guy & one of the best skateboarders I know. Shortly after he arrived, we started skating this bank that they had set up for the Inline high air contest… It was almost like a bank game of SKATE…. Mad fun skating with Leonardo, he is stylish & got some HOT Tricks… check it
Insanely beautiful ollie One-Foot by Leonardo.
Mad steez Pop Shuv it.
I held it down with Kickflips, nollie flips & tre flips….. Gotta represent & show them what the Head Judge is made of!
The rain cleared & we did the local Korean Pre lims before dusk. A long day indeed. Check back tomorrow for more updates.
