The 4th day in Chuenchon, Korea was the Finals for all events. We started at 8am that morning; & that was the only chance I had to watch the skateboarding practice; for the rest of the morning I was busy judging while JBS MC’d…
Props to our Hong Kong Johnnie, he got 4th at the Skate Park finals; for the Ollie event, Lee Ka Lung almost got 95cm, me made the 90 cm mark but missed the 95cm mark that was achieved by Indonesia’s Indra Ghandi; props to both of them & Johnnie landed a silver medal for 90cm!
The rest of the day was the BMX & Inline finals, JBS had to help MC with those while I had some free time to check out other things happening around the venue.
Ogio, a company that makes really dope bags, was the official sponsor for the event & had a booth set up there. They were selling the latest back packs for wholesale price, so we got a few of these bags, this one is dope, Eric Koston’s model.
I also managed to get Ty Evan’s filmer back pack for a good price!
Mad fun times with everyone at the skate park, we waited till dusk for the award ceremony; everyone was psyched with the results!
It was getting late; our plan was to go to SEOUL that evening, so after a couple of meetings for official business, it was a mad rush to freshen up & PACK while also arranging
for rides to get us to SEOUL that night…. We were keen to get to Seoul because JBS was telling us about the amazing bacon barbecue in Seoul…
JBS says “SEOOOOOOULL!!!”
We packed up in record time, out of the hotel & finally on our way to SEOUL….
