Blasting off @ Chai Wan Skatepark

I love blasting some air!  Thanks to LeeHawk for shooting these pics of me last weekend!

I’m trying to get into shape ‘coz I can’t wait to check out the new Skatepark  in Singapore, which was built by Convic (same folks that built the SMP park in Shanghai)

The “ Singapore’s National Extreme Sports Facility ” is opening this weekend with a big event that brings in Skaters & Pros from all around the world to compete.   Its very impressive how Singapore, Malaysia & China have such good government support for Skateparks & extreme sports; unlike Hong Kong, where the authorities still treat skateparks as ‘Recreation-Play-areas” no different from childrens playgrounds, thats why most new skateparks in HK so far are, well, SHIT .

So much for claiming to be “ASIA’S WORLD CITY”.

ANYWAY, I will be flying down to Singapore tomorrow & look forward to blasting some big air with some good freinds!
