An evening at the Subcrew’s Headquarters…

Visited the offices of my old friend Frankie today, the Hat King & partner behind Subcrew.

  In addition to Subcrew, Frankie makes hats for a number of renowned street wear brands. 

This looks familiar……. 

I was checking out the studs in the caps he makes, its actually silhouette of his face; make sure you see this for the real genuine deal.

  What really made my day was seeing these  Technics SL-1200 MKII turntables.  They weren’t just ANY MKII’s, these were Tabo’s own turntables that he had for years.   I remember them from BFD, sticker job & all. 

Taking a peek at the turntables, the autographs were still there; Tabo spinned with  DJ Krush back in the day & Krush tagged his turntables…… 

Seeing these really, really made my day.  Its cool that Frankie has kept these, he tells me that once they hook them up to a decent sound system, DJ Becareful can spin on them while he is at the Subcrew HQ.
